Lucas del Villar has more than 15 years of experience in consumer law, economic regulation and regulatory compliance. He served as National Director (2018–2022) and Deputy Director (2014-2019) of SERNAC, leading legislative reforms such as the Pro-Consumer Act and the implementation of the SERNAC Strengthening Act. Under his leadership, the agency received the Institutional Excellence Award and launched consumer protection digital platforms such as “No Molestar” (“Do Not Disturb”) and “Me Quiero Salir” (“I Want Out”).

In private practice, he advises companies on regulatory strategy, consumer compliance and litigation before Sernac and civil courts.
