Francisco Aninat leads the Business Dispute Resolution practice at Aninat Abogados, with more than 20 years of experience resolving complex disputes. His practice focuses on domestic and international arbitration, civil and commercial litigation, and strategic advisory work for Chilean and foreign clients.

Before joining Aninat Abogados as a partner, he was a partner at Bofill Escobar Silva Abogados for more than twelve years and spent four years in the United States on the Global Disputes firm Jones Day. He sits on the roster of arbitrators of the Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM) of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Chilean Bar Association, and serves as President of the Financial Affairs Tribunal of the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP, Chile’s Professional Football Association).

His work has been recognized by Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal, Leaders League and Best Lawyers. In 2025, Legal 500 nominated him for Lawyer of the Year, Arbitration Lawyer of the Year and Litigator of the Year, ultimately naming him Litigator of the Year.
