– During his professional career of more than 20 years, Luis Alberto has developed his practice areas with a particular emphasis on corporate, transactional, regulatory, and dispute resolution aspects.
– In the corporate sphere, he has represented companies and business entities, Chilean and foreign, in merger transactions, and corporate acquisitions and finance in general and in its operation in various sectors of the economy, such as commercial, financial, services, natural resources, infrastructure, technology, communications, new businesses, and others.
– Acting in dispute resolution procedures, he has participated, led, coordinated, and supervised domestic and international litigation, in civil, commercial and regulatory, arbitration, producer responsibility and consumer protection, antitrust and competition matters, both in Chile and abroad.
Regarding arbitration, Luis Alberto is in the roaster of arbitrators of the National Arbitration Center and the Court of Appeals of Santiago.
– In the regulatory area, mainly linked to natural resources projects and real estate and construction matters, Luis Alberto has provided advice to a wide range of clients in contentious administrative procedures, investigations, obtaining permits and approvals, administrative resolutions and also challenging them, acting before the Comptroller General of the Republic, sectoral authorities, the central government, and decentralized institutions.
As a complement to professional advice, Luis Alberto participates in the Boards of several companies, other non-profit organizations and is currently an elected member of the Bar Association of Chile, A.G.

Between 2002 and 2005 he co-teached the International Commercial Contracting course in the Law School of the University of Chile.
– Previously, he was assistant of the Departments of Civil and Procedural Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile.
– Luis Alberto has been a permanent speaker at the Chilean Conference on Commercial Law and other specialized forums.
