Burgos

Constanza Burgos has practiced in the areas of antitrust, compliance and corporate law. In antitrust, she has extensive experience handling investigations and merger control cases before the Fiscalía Nacional Económica; contentious and non-contentious proceedings before the Tribunal de Defensa de la Libre Competencia and the Supreme Court; and implementing and monitoring compliance programs.

She previously worked as an associate at Menchaca & Cía., advising public and private entities and economic groups on corporate and antitrust matters. Before that, she practiced as a lawyer at the Defensoría del Asegurado (Insured Party’s Ombudsman) of the Asociación de Aseguradores de Chile A.G. (Chilean Insurers Association).

She is a teaching assistant for the elective course “Abuse of Dominant Position and Exclusionary Practices” at the PUC Faculty of Law, and for the university’s Legal Clinic. She is a member of Red Procompetencia (Pro-Competition Network).
