Aninat Abogados hires former Prieto Manager for its newly created General Management role
Engineer María Pía Cruz Coddou will take on this role, which she held at the Prieto firm for the past 15 years.
Aninat Abogados announced the appointment of a new General Manager, engineer María Pía Cruz Coddou, who has a distinguished track record in both the business and legal worlds. She held the same position at Prieto for the past 15 years.
According to the firm, this appointment aims to “further professionalize Aninat Abogados’ internal management, align more efficiently with its clients, and advance its strategic plan for consolidation in the legal market.”

Cruz’s arrival adds to recent growth milestones, such as the consolidation of the firm’s Complex Dispute Resolution practice — which included bringing on Francisco Aninat as a firm partner — and the formation of a four-lawyer team specializing in litigation.
“This new move will allow Aninat, which today has a team of 25 lawyers and seven partners, to strengthen its culture of excellence, closeness and agility, positioning itself as a strategic partner capable of speaking the same language as senior company leadership,” the firm added.
