  • In his more than 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Blanco has developed his practice representing local and foreign clients in corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust, foreign investment, energy, litigation, insolvency and restructuring of liabilities, in industries such as metalworking, real estate, construction, construction materials, power generation, agriculture, financial services, education and other services.
  • Representation of Garibaldi S.A. in corporate, judicial and contentious-administrative matters. 
  • Representation of Key Knife Group in corporate, judicial and financial matters in Chile. 
  • Advising Superbid Group, a multinational company dedicated to online auctions, in corporate and judicial matters. 
  • Advising Banco Itaú on real estate financing projects. 
  • Representation of Brendisol, a foreign apparel supplier, in the reorganization proceedings of a major department store chain, including participation in the creditors’ committee. 
  • Advising Columbia University, NY, in matters related to the operation of the Columbia University Global Center Foundation – Chile. 
  • Representation of Enerbosch in corporate and partnership negotiations. 
  • Consultancy to the sellers of the air transport company for critical patients Movi Air SpA 
  • Consultancy to the production company Cultura Ciudadana SpA, in the organization of massive concerts. 
  • Advising multinational firm on the Chilean aspects of the investment of XIO Group (China) consisting of the leveraged buyout of Compo Expert from Triton Partners. 
  • Advising Solventus Chile SpA, to develop non-conventional renewable energy projects. 
  • Advised Solventus SpA in the sale of 90% of the solar photovoltaic project Salvador (70 MW) to Total and Etrion. 
  • Advising CDEC-SING and the Ministry of Energy on regulatory matters. 
  • Advising Empresas Pizarreño S.A. in energy, corporate and labor matters. 
  • Representation of Embotelladora Andina S.A. in a lawsuit filed by the franchisees of a well-known food franchise chain for alleged abuse of dominant position of the franchisor. 
  • Representation of Fitch Ratings Chile in the La Polar case and associated civil proceedings. 
  • Representation of individuals and families with respect to estate planning and inheritance matters.
  • Mr. Blanco is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and a member of its Ethics Tribunal. He is also a member of the list of bankruptcy arbitrators of the Superintendencia de Insolvencia y Reemprendimiento. He has been director of open and closed corporations, and member of the Advisory Board of the Columbia Global Center – Santiago and of the  Advisory Committee of the Board of Directors of the Chilean American Chamber of Commerce – Amcham Chile and Chairman of its Legal Committee. Member of the Advisory Board of Fundación ProBono. 
  • He is also a Reserve Officer (RNY) of the Chilean Navy.
